On 4-7 October the Committee of Regions will organise its 8th European Week of Regions and Cities, the “Open Days”. The main theme will be “Europe 2020: Competitiveness, Co-operation and Cohesion for all Regions”. More than 130 seminars and workshops will be held during that week to simulate discussions among regions, cities, and policy-makers from all levels.
Workshops will address issues such as “Innovative regional strategies in cultural tourism”, “Innovation and creativity in your region: Better use of talent for competitiveness and job creation”, or “The economy of culture: a driver for regional development – Evidence from European Cohesion Policy”.
