MAGA, the Cornish Language Partnership, is seeking an Education Officer to develop work with teaching and learning Cornish. Working within a small, motivated team and liaising with teachers, learners and education providers at all levels throughout Cornwall, the Post will develop formal and informal learning opportunities and resources. MAGA is funded until March 2011.
Employment beyond that date will be dependent on renewed support.
The successful applicant will have a teaching qualification, experience in project management and – preferably – teaching, enthusiasm for the project and for language learning and a good command of Cornish or a willingness to learn.
