 Project description

The project is aimed at new and prospective parents and promotes the benefits of bilingualism and the advantages of learning to speak Welsh from an realy age.

The project emphasises that best way to learn Welsh is to choose Welsh medium education and outlines the following benefits:

Socially: Mixing and socialising with a wide variety of people and enjoying two cultures;

Aiming High: Children who study through the medium of Welsh do just as well if not better in school;

Bilingual and brilliant: Your child's English won't suffer at all but will continue to develop;

A bright future: In Wales, being able to speak Welsh and English is a big advantage for young people looking for work;

Promotional materials are distributed to parents at a variety of events and contact details for Welsh medium schools throughout Wales are available on the Welsh Language Board website.
