The first Campus on language planning takes place in Udine

40 language policy makers from regions all over Europe attended the first edition of our NPLD-Coppieters Campus on Planning and Evaluation of Language Policies in Udine (Friuli Venezia Giulia), 13th-14th September, 2018.

The first edition of the Campus was co-organized by Coppieters Foundation, NPLD and hosted by ARLeF at University of Udine. The programme addressed the following main topics:

  • Minority languages and language rights
  • Sociolinguistic foundations of language planning
  • Policy design, policy analysis and evaluation
