Short note on organisation background

The General Directorate of Language Policy and Management of Multilingualism of the Government of Valencia is in charge of planning, leading, controling and supervising the actions in the following services:

1. Language Promotion
2. Use and Linguistic Rights
3. Languages and European Programmes
4. Certification and Advice
5. Studies and Planning

It aims to promote the display of the linguistic legislation derived from the Valencian Auntonomy Law and to protect the application of the linguistic policy established by the Valencian Government for the two official languages, language rules, the promotion of the use of Catalan, as well as to manage the multilingualism and European programmes.
