The 2022 General Assembly of the NPLD, held in Brussels on the last 18th of May, elected the Regional Secretary for Universities, Research & Language Policy of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Miquel Àngel Sureda, as the new Chair of the Network. Furthermore, the General Assembly also elected Tríona Ní Mathunha, from the Irish Language Policy Department within the Government of Ireland, as Vice-Chair. Anna Jungner-Nordgren, responsible for International Affairs at Folktinget, complements the Chair’s Committee of the Network to Promote Linguistic Diversity.
